Nov 20, 2014 · The common lineup of gauges made today (from smallest to largest) are .410-bore (again, not actually a gauge, but a common shotgun chambering), 28-gauge, 20-gauge, 16-gauge, 12-gauge and 10 gauge. (Shotguns of long ago also included the mammoth 8-gauge and 4-gauge and the smaller 24-gauge and 32-gauge, but these are all collectors’ items now.)
This gun was made in 12, 16 and 20ga 2 3/4" chambering plus a separate 12 ga 3" magnum version. The barrel sported a ventilated rib, with no plain barrels supplied. This model only holds 2 rounds in the magazine as the recoil spring is inside the forward end of this tube.
